At Cumberland Falls Bed & Breakfast Inn offers packages year round. We do this for several reasons:
We are surprisingly close to the Biltmore Estate (3 miles) and can provide convenient lodging for your visit in a more private setting right here at the inn. If you are able to travel mid-week, avoiding the weekend crowds, you will find perfect peace in our lush gardens – ideal for a great read and a glass of wine. If you are seeking a special, most memorable weekend celebration, we can accommodate that as well.
Whatever your interests, there are displays and activities present on the grounds of Biltmore House in every season. To name just a few: The awesome display of Flower Carpet that seeks to incorporate some element of design found within the house itself and uses the language of flowers to make it real. The Festival of Flowers, bringing visitors from all over the world, for a garden display worthy of royalty.
Candlelight Christmas at the Estate is magic to both the eyes and ears as holiday lights shine brightly. Music is abundant and unforgettable; a worthy addition to any holiday tradition.
The House: A vision of the gilded age completed in 1895, this 250-room French chateau is breathtaking. At the time the building of this home was undertaken, it was one of the largest homes in the history of American residential structures. A six-year project and an entire entourage of craftsman with an on-site brick factory, wood shop, and a 3-mile rail spur for material transport did not lessen the monumental task before them.
Architect: Richard Morris Hunt modeled the house after 3 chateaus built in 16th century France.
Designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (of New York’s Central Park fame) creating acres of gardens and parkland. The formal style of the Italian Garden and wondrous presence of ancient trees in America’s first “managed forest,” his design genius and conservation mindedness is present in every aspect of this magical place.
Colors abound and beauty is everywhere you look, not the least of which can be appreciated in the All American Rose Garden featuring more than 250 varieties of roses.
A secret to most, our beloved state ranks seventh in the entire country in wine production. Despite the rhetoric about the Napa Valley, Biltmore Estate is the most visited winery in the entire United States. Does the number one million astound you?
Established in 1971, in a carefully selected location on the estate, the first plantings were French-American hybrids. Vinifera plantings followed; carefully chosen and overseen by William A.V. Cecil, always with his grandfather’s vision that the estate be self-supporting.

JEAN & BEN
This house and gardens were so amazing that any future BnB will have a very hard time trying to compare. The hidden nooks and flower gardens were such a treat that we didn't want to leave the property to visit the town. Angela and David made our stay absolutely amazing. They were accommodating to my food allergies and our early check out needs. We will certainly be going back.
This lovely b & b is in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the town. Extremely comfortable room and all in all a charming old colonial house with a beautiful garden. The innkeepers are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble if you need help- we did! Breakfasts were absolutely fabulous, very tasty, beautifully cooked and presented. We can’t thank Angela and David enough for giving us such a wonderful and welcoming stay.
