It’s time for the wolves to howl and that’s pretty much how all those that have been in winter mode feel about upcoming and dearly yearned for SPRING!  No one loves Spring more than a gardener and our upcoming Home Lawn and Garden Show affords local and visitor alike the opportunity to engage every new, upcoming, interesting and thoroughly charming option available for your home (inside and out.)

On Friday March 15, 2013 our guests can simply put on their  tennies and walk for 12 minutes to the U.S. Cellular Center without even having to find a parking spot.  Beginning at 11 a.m. all the  vendors, experts, homebuilders, financiers, pool and spa folks, home security and last, but certainly not least, the opportunity to engage in DIY workshops are there and ready to engage.

When I first started attending this expo I thought it amusing that they had the finance guys onboard in a home show.  Having attended one, I am crystal clear on why they are there.  There is so much innovation going on- both in interior ideas for your home ranging from spiffy lighting to electronics- Not to even get started on what is new for outdoors.

Now, should you not make it on Friday…No worries.  The show is also open Saturday March 16 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday March 17 11 a.m.-5 a.m. Tickets are only $7 for the day or $15 for the weekend and this includes any DIY classes.  They are available first come, first serve so sign up early.

Before this day is over you could be living in the Dynasty mansion.  Ok, I really have dated myself there.  I should go now. Have fun!
