 Reception to the Hunger Games Trilogy seems to be without restraint enticing some fans to make their own site visits.  Some attempting to get up close and personal to Hunger Games Filming Locations, Movie Release March 23, 2012 North Carolina.  Filming took place entirely in the state of North Carolina and was 84 days in production during the Spring and Summer of 2011.

Dupont State Forest:  45 Mins.  S.W. of Asheville.  Filming at Triple Falls and also Hooker Falls Road and Bridal Veil Falls Road. The arena shots in which the tributes chosen fought to the death.  There is only one survivor of The Hunger Games.
