The joining of two lives in faith of creating a future is always wondrous.
Here At Cumberland Falls www.cumberlandfalls.com we have had the honor of assisting many couples in creating their special beginning. Some of the weddings are large and some begin only as the couple but all commit to each other, as couples have been doing for many years, to stand fast by their partner as their lives merge. It is as much an act of faith as one of love.

Though we have been hosting weddings for the 10 1/2 years we have owned our home and have done both large weddings and small ones, our specialty at the inn is elopement weddings. I would also say they are our favorites. Sometimes, in a large ceremony, amid more details than most of us would manage in a year, no less in a small space of time- the real purpose of a wedding can be hard to find.
She wants formal, he prefers relaxed. She wants a catered four course meal, he wants Hors d’oeuvres, she wants a guest list of 50 and he wants to have only a short 2-person ceremony.
Coupling all this with family dynamics that may not be straight out of “central casting” can create more stress than any two folks need, especially on their wedding day.

Our wedding package provides a lovely, reasonably cost contained venue with traditional accouterments of minister, photography, floral and reception in the minature. It goes without saying that there are much more cost contained forums in which one can conduct a wedding service. The justice of the peace, a park with a notary etc. but there is a traditional flare missing from those events that we are able to offer here while not jeopardizing the chance of saving the big bucks for the honeymoon or the downpayment one your first home together.
